window focus

If I use Insert -> Groups to choose a shortcut group such as Ac, then, when I press Close, the focus should automatically return to the MarvinSketch window, but it doesn't.

I've found a similar problem with a few other operations, for example, the first time I press the Text button on the toolbar, then clicking on the canvas returns the focus to the window but does not initiate a textbox.

MarvinSketch 14.9.8.0, but it's been happening for a while.

• what OS do you use?


• is it a desktop / Applet / Webstart that you use?


• Is it happening every time or just occasionally?


• what is your Java version?

   Unfortunately I could not reproduce it either.

I'm seeing this problem fairly frequently with textboxes as well. It's hard to reproduce; I think maybe it happens when MarvinSketch is loaded into a browser for the first time, and then a module is loaded for the first time. After the first time the module is loaded, it tends not to happen anymore; that's why it's so hard to reproduce.
