Class not Found exception chemaxon.marvin.applet.jmsketchla

My Son is away at college, trying to access Pearson mastering chemistry assignments, introduction to drawing organic structures.  He is using windows 7, and has the latest version of Java loaded.  When he treis using internet explorer and/or Chrome, he gets an error:

Class not Found exception  chemaxon.marvin.applet.jmsketchlaunch. 

 

We have tried soooo many things, I can't begin to document them.  I have called support desk, wait forever to talk, and get nowhere.  Can anyone please help me to troubleshoot this problem?

When I click on details button, the error2 .jpg file shows what is displayed.

We are not sure what causing this error, but we try to help you. First you should try to delete Java cache, you can read about it in this topic: https://www.chemaxon.com/forum/ftopic556.html&sid=a890425016966d34e8a326c7cfa5f933  />

We are having the exact same problem:  chemaxon.marvin.applet.JMSketchLaunch error

We cleared the cache as suggested with no resolution.  Can you help?

We have tried many things for many hours too.  Uninstall Java, Browsers, tried IE, Firefox and Chrome with the same result.

• What OS do you run?


• (Which version: 32 bit or 64 bit?)


• What Browser do you run?


• (Also, which version.)


• What version of Marvin Sketch do you use?

   Could you send  a screenshot, after you have pressed the details button?
