I have encounter the problem with Marvin Applet which i deployed long time back with version 5.12. Now recently i did java updates (1.7u 45) and i now the applet is not starting, it gives me following errors:
basic: exception: Missing required Permissions manifest attribute in main jar: /marvin/appletlaunch.jar.
2) To overcome the 1st problem, i downloaded newest version of Marvin Applet (6.15) and deployed it.. Now It could able to start. But the problem is that it can not able to display (in MView Table) some of the molecules, which was easily display by previous java version( 5.12)
for e.g this molecule: C1=CC2=CC=C1\C=C/C1=CC=C(C=C1)\C=C/C1=CC=C(C=C1)\C=C/2
you can also copy paste this smile in online "MSketch applet" available from ChemeAxon website but it also can not able to display molecule.
Any Ideas as how to solve problem?
