Marvin View : Differences in 2D/3D display

I viewed a structure in 2D and then in 3D. But the display settings change for the 2 views .


For e.g in 2D if I have Ball and Stick Model and some background color, the same structure viewed in 3D is shown in wireframe or some other model with a different background.





Anyone, kindly explain.

Probably, you have changed display settings of MarvinView. MarvinView and MarvinSketch applications always store your settings.


Delete HOME\chemaxon\marvin.properties file (where HOME is your user home e.g.: C:\Documents and Settings\myusername\chemaxon). If you are a Mac or a Linux user, you will find marvin.properties in the ".chemaxon" sub directory in your user home.
