Electron flow different in word and MarvinSketch

Hi

possibly rather a bug report. I realised that the electron flow as drawn in MarvinSketch is different to the one when the object is imported into Word. Seems to be ok when I save it as an image though. Not convenient, but at least I get the correct flow.

On a similar note, when importing on Marvin OLE into word, often the text boxes are hidden and/or squashed. Making the text box larger than the text seems to work. Again, inconvenient at least.

BTW using 6.1.2 on XP

Hi

It looks like the OLE parameter setting does not go through the system. Could you check  whether  the architecture (32/64 bit) of the MarvinSketch is the same of the version of your Office? 32bit Marvin should work well with 32bit office and 64bit
Marvin with 64bit Office. Please let me know If these versions are the same; in that case it is a bug.

Hi,

I checked my system and everything is 32-bit (OS, Word, and Marvin). So, it appears to be a bug then... Awaiting a new version then (although just downloading 6.1.3).

Thanks,

Bernhard

Yes, you are right. It is definitely a bug, however I am afraid, we cannot fix it before 6.3, because of the lack of capacity.

I am happy to inform you that the upcoming 6.2 version will contain the fix.
