Marvin 6.1.2 no JavaScript to Java communication in your bro

Hi there,

We were having issues after our plugin up date to Java SE7 U45 10.45.2.18, where we were getting the "Allow access to the following application from this web site?" issue.

I have down loaded the new versions of the applets 6.1.2 to fix this and now cannot get Marvin to run at all. (I downloaded marvin-all-6.1.2.zip) Please see the screen grab attached.

We are running on Tomcat.  I have updated to latest JDK and have ensured tomcat is running Marvin on it.  I.e

Using CATALINA_BASE:   "C:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-7.0.23"
Using CATALINA_HOME:   "C:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-7.0.23"
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: "C:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-7.0.23\temp"
Using JRE_HOME:        "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_45"

when running the examples on the Marvin site I am getting:

Cannot import molecule:
no JavaScript to Java communication in your browser

Any idea what the issue could be?

   could you specify what do sou mean by marvin site? Do you mean this site? Or you mean a local copy of the site?

   Do you run the applet locally? Applet developers complain about that new Java version (1.7.0_u45) does not run signed applets locally.
