Since the latest version of java was released a few days ago we are now getting the warning attached when we try to use the applet in firefox 18. It is rather irritating!
Java SE 7 U45 10.45.2.18
There seems to something about this in the following website:
https://blogs.oracle.com/java-platform-group/entry/liveconnect_changes_in_7u45Isx
Is there anything I can do about this, or will a fix be available soon?
Thanks
Megan

Dear Megan!
We know about this issue, it has started only 3 days ago, but our solution is already on the way to you. (The 6.1.2 version of ChemAxon Applets will be available in the beginning of the next week.)
A little bit more in details: In 2013.04.16
Oracle introduced a new signing attribute: Trusted-Library in Java
1.7.0_u21. This was needed to allow Java-JavaScript and JavaScript-Java
communication. In 2013.10.15 (Java 1.7.0_u45) this was expanded by
Caller-Allowable-Codebase attribute. The problem is: they can not work
together. If your browser automatically updated for the new Java plug-in,
then you could not use any JavaScript to reach your application until you
have updated to new Java. New Java prompted a security confirmation dialog
before the first JavaScript call execution. This means we had to remove
old signing solution to get new signing work. The problem is: we can not
support java 1.7.0_u21-u25-u40 and Java 1.7.0_u45-... together.
We can support you a new, resigned version of any old versions if you need it.
