Chemical Terms Evaluator in Marvin Demo

I have encountered a problem with the Marvin, Calculator Plugin and Chemical Terms Demo here:

Some of the Chemical Terms expressions listed in the drop-down menu don't seem to work for me. For example, Molecular Weight works just fine with the answer showing up in the Results: box. But if I choose Lipinksi Rule of 5, I see a brief "calculating ..." message, then the box goes blank. The answer never shows. This happens for most of the terms.

Can someone reproduce this problem? I am using Windows XP and can reproduce it in both IE8 and Firefox 22.0.

 

I was hoping to use MarvinSketch for an online distance learning course I am setting up, but I need this feature to work properly.

Hi,

those calls are not working because they are licensed, and the necessery licenses are not present on the server. We will consider to change those examples, and at least update the text to make this more clear on the example pages.

With a valid license installed on the server those calls are also working well.

Presumably this is also the reason the Lipinski calculation is not working on the"MarvinSketch Example - Calculating the Lipinski rule of 5 on the fly" page?
