There is a java popup being displayed when marvin loads that says: "You are using Marvin with a buggy java environment (1.4.1_01). This can cause severe errors during running. Please upgrade your java environement or select another on to run Marvin". I realize this is bad. I realize I should upgrade, but the standard build we were using employed 1.4.1_01 at one point and I am going to be asked if it is possible to simply suppress the message.

Thanks,

Jim

No, you can not switch off this warning message. Marvin drops this message automatically if it detects this buggy Java version under WIndows.

Java 1.4.1_01 is a very unstable version. Java applications can freeze with this Java version or other serious problems can occur. Bugparade

We don't recommend Java 1.4.1_01 for running Marvin. I suggest to upgrade your Java to a more stable version.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear. Thanks very much for verifying.
