Cannot insert text object via Marvin OLE into Word report

Hi,

It seems I cannot insert a text item within the Marvin OLE within a MS Word report. I have...

• MarvinSketch 6.0.1 (64-bit)


• Win 7 64-bit


• MS Word 2007

I have no issue inserting a structure. To reproduce...

1. Open MS Word document


2. Insert object --> Marvin OLE document


3. Select "T" text tool and attempt to type something.


4. Result: no text is added to the document.

Is this a known issue or have I stumbled upon a bug?

Yes, we have some Java 7 compatibility issues with OLE and we are working on it.
But this special bug has still not emerged.
If you use Java 6 or install the 32-bit version Marvin bundled with Java, you will not encounter with this bug.
