I think I stumbled upon this bug. Here is my version info:
buildstamp=05/03/2013 06:57 AM
version=5.12.4
version.internal=5.12.4_b140
revision=328834
I am placing a MViewPane on my frame and setting it's editable to "SKETCHABLE". When I double-click the view, I enter into sketch mode. However, when I close the sketcher, the molecule is not updated in the viewPane.
When I switch to an earlier version of jar, the API shows the normal functionality. I'm unsure of the build, but the files are all created on March 31, 2012. Is this a regression or a change in the API?

The build that works is 5.9.1.

Dear Beaujest!
Do you close the Sketcher window or do you click on the transfer button which is in the upper left corner of Marvin Sketch when you open a sketcher from a Marvin View? The Transfer button should work. (If it does not work, please inform me about it.) I also investigate the issue with the close button.

Hello Balázs,
Yes, the transfer button does work, but I am writing an application and want it to be robut so that if a user closes the sketcher it will also update the Marvin view. For now, I'm using the earlier release, but if you confirm the bug I'd be interested to know when it is resolved.
Thanks,
Beau

Dear Beaujest!
I have discussed with my colleagues this issue. This is a new behaviour of Marvin. If you use the transfer button, than it will transfer the molecule back to the View, and if you use the close button it will cancel editing. I am sorry for these bad news. If you have any further questions please find us!
