After using the conformers plugin  from MarvineSketch 5.11.x to MarvineSketch 5.11.5 (with built-in jre) and save as structures in xyz-format the resulting file has  some wrong symbols at the beginning. Example is attached. Operating system is CentOS6.3.

Your file starts with the byte order mark (ef bb bf in hexa). I forward your issue to the relevant developers.

Currently Marvin writes byte-order mark on a system with UTF-8 encoding.

To omit that you either need to set your system encoding to something else (e.g. ISO-8859-1).

Or you can set the JVM's default encoding by setting the environment variable JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS to -Dfile.encoding=ISO8859_1
