Chemaxon components in Pipeline Pilot

Can academic licence holders use the chemaxon pipeline pilot components if running Pipeline Pilot on a server accessed by multiple users?

Hi Michael,

This is a really nice question :) Our Pipeline Pilot components are free to download for anyone. So, this part is absolutely possible with an academic license.

But the academic license won't work on a server. You can add the components to a server - but only the components, without ChemAxon tools in behind, are actually useless.

Under the conditions of the academic license you are not allowed to install our tools to a server. This means that you will probably need to purchase a relevant license. If you are interested, we have pretty extensive discounts for academic institutions.
