permission to reproduce a figure

Hello,

we have a book project into which we would like to insert a figure from one of the ChemAxon manual (http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem/doc/user/fingerprint_files/cfp_generation.png). We'd like to request the permission to reproduce this figure, with credits of course. How to do?

Hi Gilles,

This is great news, if we are correctly acknowledged we are more than happy to give our permission for you. Here is a short guide about how citing ChemAxon; but if you refer to the company, to the tool the picture was generated in - and maybe the version, that is absolutely enough. If you can insert a URL that is definitely a plus, but it also depends on the format of the book or page as well.
