Issues with OLE-support (64-bit and 32-bit)

Hello there,

Up until recently I used Marvinsketch and its OLE-Plugin for Word
without any issues. However, I tried the 64-bit Version afterwards, hoping the
loading time would be faster. However, I encountered a few Issues afterwards:

(1)   
Setup: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), Word
2016 (64-bit) and Marvinsketch (64-bit), Java (64-bit/newest version)

When using the OLE-function in Word, it
works flawlessly except for the shortcuts within the OLE- Marvinsketch
interface. I switched back to 32-bit because it slowed down the workflow
tremendously.

(2)   
Setup: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), Word
2016 (32-bit) and Marvinsketch + bundled Java (32-bit)

Neither can I edit any structures within
Word, nor can I create new ones. I´m always greeted by an error message,
stating that the Marvinsketch OLE Server is not installed or stopped working. However,
I can copy and paste the structures from Marvinsketch to Word and vice-versa.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled Word and Marvinsketch (Setup 2) again
but it doesn´t work as it is supposed to. The 64-bit Setup works except for the
bug.

I´m at a total loss here and I would appreciate any help.

I have refreshed my system (reset registry, settings and installed software; but kept personal data). Still nothing got fixed.

I deeply apologize, we ha a couple of technical revamps - and also the summer brought some changes in human resources, and your message got totally lost among our email flow.

I wanted to ask you if this issue is still relevant, or you found some solution for the problem in the meantime.

Hey there,

I completely understand, no apology needed .

Short answer: Everything works for me now.

Long answer: My problem remained and I had to copy/paste structures which somewhat worked but didn´t allow for editing within Word 2013/16. However, I ran into an OS related issue and had to install Windows 10 from scratch. After a fresh install of Windows 10, Office 2016 and Marvinsketch everything works as supposed to an I am able to edit structures within Word. I assume it was an issue related to the registry. However, I can´t really tell.
