jchem-psql-2.0: error on CREATE EXTENSION chemaxon_framework

I am trying to install jchem-psql-2.0, using jchem-psql-2.0.r20160526.104702.x86_64.rpm. The version of the OS and DB is listed at the bottom of this post.

The installation goes well, until I try 'CREATE EXTENSION chemaxon_framework'. Execution of that statement fails with the error:

SQL Error: ERROR: could not find function "relevance" in file "/usr/pgsql-9.4/lib/libchemaxon--1.0.so"

The file "/usr/pgsql-9.4/lib/libchemaxon--1.0.so" does contain the function "relevance", so I'm not sure what's going on.

Note that I could successfully install jchem-psql-1.8 on the machine.

Any idea how I can get past this hurdle? Thanks.

Francis

Hi Francis,

Please read the page relating PostgreSQL Cartridge installation on non-standard PostgreSQL setup. This document gives hints also for cases when errors occur during the create extension steps.

Best regards,
