JChem for Office 2013?

Hi,

I tried to install JChem for MS Office in Windows 8.1, but I got an
error message saying that I needed to have certain files for MS Office
2007. When I tried to install the recommended files, I got another error
message saying that I would need to install MS Office 2007. I already
have MS Office 2013 installed.

Will ChemAxon be updating JChem of MS Office so that it could be installed in Office 2013, or can I uncheck this item and proceed with the installation?

Dear Rudy,

You can skip/unckeck that Office 2007 step in the installer, it is not necessary when 2013 is installed.

It is only necessary for Office 2007, but apparently the installer is not detecting 2013 correctly.

Hi,

I have been trying to install JChem Office on a new machine but although the installation appears to proceed no Add Ins are added to the various Office programs.  The  OS is Windows 7 Professional 64Bit  running Office Professional 2013.  I have tried installing JChem_For_Office_16.8.1500.1054.x64 and the previous version JChem_For_Office_16.8.800.1048.x64 with no luck.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All good.  Just realised Office is 32Bit.  Using the correct installer the Add Ins appear
