I'm using the JavaScript Marvin Sketch drawing palette for WileyPLUS. I am trying to make a structure with an NO2 group however there doesn't seem to be a way to enter NO2, after clicking on nitrogen on the right hand side and adding it to the molecule the CH3 is replaced with NH2 and I don't see a way to change it to NO2.

Hi,
There are more than one ways to draw NO2 group in Marvin JS:
- The easiest way is drawing via Abbreviated groups dialog. You can insert the group from the available abbreviations' list.
As far as I can see, this button is not available in the drawing palette of WileyPLUS.
If you would like to use this functionality, you need to request it from the operator of the webpage.
If you need more information about this, check our documentation here:

/>
- You can draw the whole structure explicitly and not just the abbreviation.
- (You can create a pseudo atom.
Please consider that in this case, there won't be any chemical property assigned to this atom, and this will be handled as one atom, and not a group of atoms.)
I hope this will help.
