slow response after refreshing

If I load a page with MarvinJS, and then I refresh the page, MarvinJS will reload partly (some buttons appear, but not all), and then it will take 15-60 seconds for it to finish reloading. While it is reloading, the browser is frozen, and I might get a beach ball. Sometimes I have the same response problem when I move from one MarvinJS page to another one. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Could the problem be related to the Web Services connection?

We will investigate on this.

Sorry for the late reply, but we was not able to reproduce this bug. Could you provide a bit more data please? On what kind of OS and browser can you detect this behaviour?

Thanks for the info,

Efi

Using MacOS 10.10.2 (Yosemite) and Safari 8.0.

I usually refresh a page only after I have changed the code on the page. So maybe it has something to do with the server having to recompile the page when Marvin JS is already running. Just guessing here.

Hi Bob,

I don't think it would be a Marvin JS specific issue. I guess it is rather a Safari 8 caching problem. I have found several hints on the Internet where Mac users have complained about Safari 8 after update to Yosemite.

I recommend to clear browser cache. In most cases, it helps.
