Hi, I'm playing around with MarvinJS on an iPad. I have found two problems with touch activation of the toolbars.
- For toolbar buttons with submenus (bond, arrow, electron-flow arrow, and rectangle/ellipse), is very difficult to find just the right spot on the lower right corner of the toolbar button to press and hold so that the submenus will appear.
- Even when I can get the submenus to appear, I am unable to select any of the options. For example, I cannot select the bold bond or the two-electron electron-flow arrow. Dragging my finger over to the desired option has no effect, and the submenus simply disappear when I lift my finger.
I thought MarvinJS was supposed to work on touch devices?

Hi Bob,
Which version of Marvin JS do you test on which version of ipad?
I suggest to use the latest version, we have fixed some bugs in the last release related to ipad.
I am asking your ipad info, because we test Marvin JS on iPad A1458 (4th generation) Safari 7.1.2
Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 on Chrome. And I cannot reproduce the bugs you reported.
Best regards,
Efi

It's 4th generation (model A1458) running iOS 8.1. We are currently using MarvinJS 14.10.20. I'll upgrade MarvinJS to a more recent version and see if that helps. Thanks.

Upgrading to MarvinJS 14.11.10 hasn't helped. I have an easier time (press and hold) bringing up the submenu buttons, but I still cannot select any of the submenu buttons, either by dragging my finger over the buttons (no highlighting occurs) or by releasing and pressing an option (menu goes away when I release). This problem exists only using touch on my iPad; on my desktop computer with a mouse, I have no problems.
