Hi,

When internet explorer users try to paste a Molfile or MRV into the canvas, internet explorer pops up the "Do you want to allow this webpage to access your clipboard?" warning. Is there a way for Marvin4JS to not trigger the warning?

Thanks,

David

Dear David,

sorry for the late answer. Actually, from our side we cannot prevent Internet Explorer from sending this warning.

A possible solution for your question is if you add the website to your "Trusted Sites", and then enable clipboard access for your trusted sites only.

Please, choose this option for those websites only which you actually trust, because this way you allow them to copy clipboard content, which may contain sensitive information.

The steps you have to take: in Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options, open the Security tab, select "Trusted sites", add the website to the trusted sites by using the "Sites" button. Then click the "Custom level..." button, scroll down to the "Scripting" settings and set "Enable" as default for "Allow Programatic clipboard access".
