Problem with Import Name in 5.11 and 5.11.2

Is there a problem with the Import Name function in the Edit menu in 5.11 and 5.11.2? It does not appear to be possible to type directly into the dialog box any more. One needs to type the name in an external editor such as Notepad, and then copy and paste into the box.

Thank you for reporting this bug. May I ask with kind of computer and operation system you use?

Could you open the  "import name" dialog with  CTRL+SHIFT+N shortcut, please? Does it work that way?

Hi Efi,

I've encountered the problem both with Windows XP and Windows 7. However, Ctrl-Shift-N opens the dialog box correctly and then it is possible to type. So the problem seems to be restricted to the scenario that develops when the dialog box is opened using the drop down menu.

Thank you for your feedback! We are working on it, and the next major release (5.12) will contain the fix. We have also found ,that clicking on the canvas then clicking on the title of the "import name dialog" first, also works. Sorry for the inconvenience,
