I attempted to install the Extensions on OS X Mavericks from the update site in KNIME 2.8.2. They are listed in the installed software pane, although the nodes don't appear, and the JChem Extensions logo is absent on the KNIME splash screen. There is no JChem entry in preferences. I have successfully installed it on a Windows machine, so this appears to be Mac specific.
I have tried Apple Java and Java 7, neither seemed to work. Any ideas about what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Dear Rich.Lewis,
I'm really sorry that we find critical problem in the latest version.
The latest version cannot work on Mac environment due to java version issue.
Could you please use the KNIME on Windows or Linux?
We apologize for the trouble and thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Taka

Also the newest version of Knime currently available (2.9.2) is still using java 6, whereas the infocom nodes are apparently using java 7. (at least those from the 2.8 infocom repository)
Berndt (of Knime) assured that Knime 2.10 will use java 7, so perhaps we will be able to use this again then.
