I'm having difficulty installing the chemaxon PP component collection. I follwed the README file but my Pipeline Pilot GUI upon refreshing does not recognize the new chemaxon components? (ie. they dont appear!). Any help appreciated,

Best

Hi,

Please can you let us know the exact version of the component collection and the PP ?

Also what is your operating system ?

Did you run the command to register the components / did it run successfully ?

6.  On Linux servers, type "source ppvars.sh"

7.  Run "pkgutil -r chemaxon/toolkit" to register the components

Does the restart of the PP client help ?

Best regards,

Hi Szilard

So the component collection I used was chemaxon_for_PP_1_6_2. I have academic Pipeline Pilot running on a windows vista machine. I tried using the linux commands to register it using Cygwin but unsuccessfully. Maybe there is a workaround for windows machines that I missed! The version of PP is version 6.1.5.

Any help appreciated

Many thanks

Andy

Hi,

Since you do not have a Linux machine you should skip #6 from this list (so perform #4, #5 and #7):

4.  Open a command window

5.  Change directory to <scitegic_root>/bin

6.  On Linux servers, type "source ppvars.sh"

7.  Run "pkgutil -r chemaxon/toolkit" to register the components

There is no need for Cygwin, a regular Command Prompt will do.

Best regards,
