Hi,

A few days ago, I requested a new academic package license; my current one will expire on November 15. I have not received a response or even an acknowledgement of my request. When can I expect a response?

Dear Bob,

Did you get our confirmation e-mail, because we could not see your application in our system. Could you please login and request an extension for you academic teaching license at https://www.chemaxon.com/my-chemaxon/my-academic-license/ ?

Best Regards,

I did complete the application at that Web site. I never received a confirmation email. I have just now applied again. After submitting the software implementation page, I get a mostly blank page. (I would attach a screen shot, but this forum doesn't appear to allow me to do so.)

I am still awaiting our new licenses. Our current ones expire in three weeks. I am getting anxious. Please help.

Hi Bob,

Apparently there was some sort of glitch in our system - or you missed something. I checked and your application update was not registered. This is the reason we did not reach out to you yet on the traditional channels.

I'm not quite sure about the reasons, though I can renew your license easily. Just to be sure: you have an academic teaching license - also the Marvin JS included. And that's the license I should renew right?

Yes. Our license also covers JChem Web services, Standardizer, Reactor, and calculator plugins. Basically, it covers everything.

Hi Bob,

All fine. In theory you just received an email from us about your new teaching license. If you log in and go to the My Licenses page, you can see all of your licenses there.

And in the meantime I realized why your update request did not come through... We made the department name field required not that long ago. So, if that's not filled in, you cannot update your application. This is a bug on our side because it should pop-up a warning message in these cases. So, we will have to fix this...

Let me know if something is missing,

Janos

Thanks, I downloaded the licenses.

Does the MarvinJS license need to be in a separate file from all the other licenses? In our 2013-15 license, all licenses were in a single file. We would rather have a single file to reference everywhere.

Hi Bob,

Oh yes - sorry, this means that you did not receive the manual for Marvin JS yet. I send it to you in email - since it is confidential.

That will describe why we had to put it into a separate license file...
