Upgrade JChem for Excel (6.2 to 15.7): License issue

I have been trying to upgrade JChem for Excel to the latest version (15.7) from 6.2. The program itself loads, but my old perpetual license files are now listed as expired in the License Manager. Doesn't make sense that the perpetual licenses have expired, so I assume there is a compatibility issue with the old license and new version. Do I need to request new licenses?

Hi Mike,

Well, correct - you have a perpetual license, and it still runs with the old versions. However, we changed our licensing policy a bit in the meantime, so if you want to upgrade to newer versions unfortunately you will have to apply for a new academic license.

If your purpose is academic research then please be prepared to upload some sort of scientific paper, where ChemAxon was cited. That's how we will accept your upgrade.

Janos,

Ours is not an Academic license. We purchased 25 perpetual licenses for JChem for Excel and the Calculation Pack for use in our non-Commercial research projects. I would like to upgrade to the latest version of JChem for Excel, but our existing license isn't recognised by Version 15.7.2000. I assume we need to renew the license files and as the license is a perpetual one. I expect that you will provide this ASAP.

I can send you copies of the existing licenses if need be.
