setting cis and trans

Hi. I would like to ask one question.


Please see the attached file. After running this reaction, as you can see, I got the pruduct of trans structure but cis is the right one in this reaction. So I wonder if there is a function to set trans and cis structure.


Please let me know.

Thank you for your quick answer and sorry for my mistake. You are right.  the product is cis so it is right.


So now it is not a problem but I wonder how I can set trans and cis. For muconic acid,  there are three forms possible, trans, cis-, cis, cis-, and trans, trans- .Could you please let me know ?
